Description NHO 2025-01-30 21:44:59 UTC
Fekt (Finite Element ToolKit) is a metapackage consisting from
dev-libs/maloc
media-libs/sg
sci-libs/gamer
sci-libs/mc
sci-libs/punc

1. Only we package this toolkit or it's components, any more, according to repology.
2. sg, mc, punc have multiple build failures:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/927253
https://bugs.gentoo.org/886461
https://bugs.gentoo.org/886457
3. My attempt to submit a patch upstream failed, email was rejected by mail server.
4. Worst of all, sci-libs/mc depends on sci-libs/superlu-4.3, and this package not only exhibits multiple build failures:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/926310
https://bugs.gentoo.org/948886
that are fixable by -std=gnu89 only.

Plan is to mask whole fetk and superlu-4.3 together, when time comes.
