ollaman has vulkan support which allows non AMD and not supported AMD GPUs to be used. 
Perhaps some use flag for this feature could be added

The upstream repo explicitly doesn't include vulkan or opencl into the mirrored ggml project. Rendering the vulkan or opencl support unusable.
