Here's an ebuild for the newest version of the cisco-vpnclient. The old epatch ($ver_supported_device.patch) is not necessary anymore. NOTE: This is an bi-arch build, which means it will autodetect x86_64 and build accordingly. I've tested this on x86 with the default eth0, and also with ath0 using wpa_supplicant, which works great. Pretty much just a wrap-around ebuild.
I've put the latest version of the vpnclient on my website for convenience :) Also it will download automatically from within the ebuild. I might be stepping on Cisco toes here, but the software isnt useful unless you have some other cisco equipment. I will keep the binary on my website, so feel free to put the ebuild online as-is. So the x86_64 download works on x86, too?
yes it does ! - the driver_build_CC.sh will check what arch you're on, and build accordingly.
Added to CVS... thanks for the ebuild... I couldn't allow it to download from you, as the Cisco VPN Client is export restricted and not legal to redistribute.
