I have installed net-firewall/ferm on my Raspberry Pi 5 with aarch64 (arm64) and it works like a charm. Please add the ~arm64 keyword to version 2.7 (the tested version). It's a Perl script, so there is little risk for future breakage, as long as Perl remains operational ;-)
