Description Vincenzo Romano 2005-05-31 06:59:31 UTC
I've installed KDE-3.4.0 (~x86) but then cannot install kooka-3.4.0.
Portage says that I cannot have both kdegraphics-3.4* and Kooka-3.4.0 at the same time.
The system says:
root # ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -p =kooka-3.4.0

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[blocks B ] =kde-base/kdegraphics-3.4* (is blocking kde-base/kooka-3.4.0)
[blocks B ] =kde-base/kdegraphics-3.4* (is blocking kde-base/libkscan-3.4.0)
[ebuild N ] kde-base/libkscan-3.4.0
[ebuild N ] kde-base/kooka-3.4.0

Because kdegraphics-3.4* doesn't include any version of kooka I'd guess that this is a bug. Isn't it?

kdegraphics includes kooka, you just have to make sure to install it with the
"scanner" USE flag enabled.
