Good to go? mpv at least needs newer ffmpeg as does mplayer so it's becoming quite painful for people. We had no complaints about the vaapi patch yet...

People are starting to remove VAAPI from USE flags, some even are using the vlc livebuild to use both vlc and ffmpeg with vaapi which is concerning.

Well, I think people have been doing that before -- I'm more justifying stabling it earlier than 30 days to asturm.
