dmesg | grep -i keyboard output

I tried installing Gentoo using the livegui image. As soon as I executed the boot, my Tuxedo Stellaris Slim 15's keyboard stopped working and the Caps Lock LED remained lit. Thinking it might be an issue with the image, I continued with the installation using a USB keyboard (which work). Once the PC was rebooted, the problem persisted. I also installed app-laptop/tuxedo-drivers and enabled the tuxedo_keyboard module without any result. I even tried reinstalling the system using the pre-compiled kernel (gentoo-kernel-bin) but the problem persists.

I'm attaching the output of emerge --info and dmesg | grep -i keyboard.

(I just submitted the bug report by mistake while I was still typing it!)

Sounds like a kernel issue?

I enabled the "PS2 Mouse and Keyboard Support" and also "AT Keyboard".
Nothing changed.
Should I enable something else ?

Which kernel version ?

"I attach the output of emerge --info"

Please do this

Adding releng to this as we'll need to fix there there as well as the package in tree.

I just pushed an updated version 4.11.4 of tuxedo-drivers. Maybe this works better for you?

I tried with the new version but it still doesn't work. After 'emerge --ask app-laptop/tuxedo-drivers-4.11.4-r1', I enabled the tuxedo_keyboard module with 'modprobe tuxedo_keyboard'.

Sorry, I missed the reply for some reason.

Could you please test this build of the livegui and report back if the issues is resolved with it?
