"The Bouncy Castle Crypto package is a Java implementation of cryptographic algorithms. The package is organised so that it contains a light-weight API suitable for use in any environment (including the newly released J2ME) with the additional infrastructure to conform the algorithms to the JCE framework." The source that should be used is at http://www.bouncycastle.org/download/bcprov-jdk14-128.tar.gz bcprov is a dependency of jboss-3.2.7 and jboss-4.0.2. I was unable to determine the dependencies.
Created attachment 60336 [details] bcprov-1.28.ebuild This package does not have a build.xml, so I used the one from bug #92014 unaltered. It should be placed at ${FILESDIR}/1.28/build.xml This package has different source packages for each java vm version. This one in particular is for 1.4. I'm not sure what the best way to handle other versions would be.
also request this ebuild just to have it properly installed!
Now maintained in the experimental overlay: https://gentooexperimental.org/svn/java/gentoo-java-experimental/dev-java/bcprov/
*bcprov-1.31-r1 (23 Jul 2006) 23 Jul 2006; Joshua Nichols <jnichols@gentoo.org> +files/build.xml, +metadata.xml, +bcprov-1.31-r1.ebuild: Initial commit, pulled from java-experimental-overlay. Has been available quite a while so marking this as FIXED.
