Adding linpsk to portage Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. I've attached an initial ebuild
Created attachment 60040 [details] initial ebuild for linpsk
What about some description? What does this package do?
Sorry forgot about the comment: Linpsk is psk31 and RTTY radio program. It suports the modes BPSK, QPSK and RTTY at the moment. It has an easy to use interface and is constantly improved.

We already have gmfsk in portage. The last time I tried linpsk it failed in multiple places. Is there a compelling reason to add this package in addition to gmfsk? Thanks.
I've checked on gmfsk. Since I am using kde and gmfks uses the gnome libraries, I have to install quite a number of additional libraries. With linpsk and kde I don't have to do that, since linpsk relies only on fftw and qt. Further, there is a Mac OS X port linpsk (DarwinPsk), so if people who come from Mac OS X and wanne work with gentoo might find it convenient to have their PSK program in portage. I haven't experienced any problems with compiling linpsk so far. Everytime I tried it, it compiled fine without any problems. Have you tried my example ebuild? It worked fine on my two gentoo machines... Thanks
OK, I'll have a look at it. Thanks.
Re-assign wrt Bug 53008...
