tightvnc-1.2.9-r1 compiles on hppa. should be marked at least testing.

Does not work for me. Could you please give me more information? Like your
xorg-x11 Version (imake failure).

my Xorg version is 6.8.2-r1


it seems that only the viewer is working.


when i run vncserver, i get the folloing error message:

"vncserver: couldn't find "xauth" on your PATH."

oh sorry. it's 6.8.0-r1 not 6.8.2-r1

Okay. The latest stable xorg-x11 on hppa is currently xorg-x11-6.8.2-r1. Does
tightvnc also compiles without any errors with this xorg-x11 version on your system?

i can only give you the emerge log right now as compiling on this machine is't
very fast.

I just tried version 1.3_alpha7 and it builds fine here.

Can you guys confirm it's the same for you ?
