We are changing our address from 103.22.220.133 to 210.117.237.2 (AS152671). Also, the new IPv6 address is 2001:320:237::2 We thought that rsync1.kr.gentoo.org and is pointing to a static ip address. So is it possible to change the rsync1.kr.gentoo.org A type to new ip addresses or CNAME ftp.kaist.ac.kr? We will completely change our server ip address on Oct. 28. 2024. Also, can we change the masterportage.gentoo.org authoritative ip address to 210.117.237.2 and 2001:320:237::2 ? We already mailed to mirror-admin@gentoo.org but there are no response about it. So we just moved our server and set PBR to accept older address. For now, rsync1.kr.gentoo.org works well, but it needed to be changed. (Maybe it can be CNAME the ftp.kaist.ac.kr to update automatically?) Rsync for gentoo portage is not working properly. So it needs to be changed immediately.
Sorry, I saw your email and meant to return to it. Let me handle this now.
That should be done now. I need to ask Robin about how to handle the CNAME thing.
Thank you for assistance. Now gentoo portage mirroring works well!
