Or is there a good reason not to enable the Marble dependency by default? I really put quite some work into the map stuff, and it's a nice feature for geotagged photos everybody really should be using ;-)
Let's do this for the first KF6-based release, that way we avoid a default conflict in stable when KDE Gear 24.12.x is stabilised ahead of KF6-based kphotoalbum (with that in stable shortly after, I'd expect). I guess to keep desktop profile users happy we could do that in plasma profile package.use then.
Fair enough, as soon as KF6 Marble is out (I think this will happen in December or so), we have KF6 KPA ready. Thanks for the follow-up!
