Builds without problem and this bugreport goes through the wireless link using
the driver. I've also been using an earlier version with success, but forgot
which. The hardware is a prism 2.5 (pci) card, I think from netgear.

AMD64 herd: When you mark net-wireless/hostap-driver ~am64 you should also mark
net-wireless/hostap-utils, and perhaps net-wireless/hostapd, ~amd64.

i tested as far as possible and keyworded ~amd64 the most recent version of all
the packages in brix' comment. thanks for the testing and sorry for the big delay :/
