Using the default interface 'eth0'.
Basic registers of MII PHY #1:  3100 782d 02a8 0330 05e1 0021 0000 0000.
 Basic mode control register 0x3100: Auto-negotiation enabled.
 You have link beat, and everything is working OK.
 Your link partner is generating 10baseT link beat  (no autonegotiation).
   End of basic transceiver information.

What do you mean with "lacks"? Is there one, that doesn't get installed? If not,
then it's more appropriate to file your request to the mii-diag authors.

mii-diag is distributed as a single C source file (not even a tarball) - so no,
 there is no man page and probably won

mii-diag is distributed as a single C source file (not even a tarball) - so no,
 there is no man page and probably won´t ever be one. Use 'mii-diag --help' for
usage info.

I suggest a small manpage where this explanation would be given be made.
