Description Bharath Ramesh 2005-05-24 19:43:30 UTC
Whenever I shift from X to console using vesafb my gkrellm2 disappers. Its still
running I can see it in the process list. But it just appears white. I am
running enlightenment-0.16.7.2, gentoo-2.6.10-r6 and gkrellm-2.2.5

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start enlightenment with gkrellm
2. Switch to console and switch back to X
3.

Actual Results:
gkrellm display disappears and its replaced with white area filling its original
place

Expected Results:
gkrellm should display properly

I just noticed another thing. If I have any window on top of gkrellm and I move
to any other virtual desktop with window on top of gkrellm after that there is
no display of gkrellm. I am attaching a screenshot of gkrellm window too.

Comment 3 Jim Ramsay (lack) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-23 15:32:27 UTC
This is a fairly old bug, and there are newer versions of gkrellm and enlightenment out there.

I tried to replicate this with enlightenment-0.16.8.5 and gkrellm-2.2.10, but was not able to do so.

Could you please verify that this issue still exists with the latest versions currently in portage, and if so, record the versions you used in this bug?
Comment 4 Jim Ramsay (lack) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-03-07 14:49:52 UTC
With no response, I assume this is fixed. Please re-open if you can replicate this with the most recent versions of the software.
