I've been using sci-calculators/qalculate-qt-4.8.1 for a long time. It's working as expected.

Why 4.8.1 in particular when there is 5.0.0 in ::gentoo since April?

See, the reason why I was stuck on 4.8.1 was because it's a moving target otherwise. Now we have 5.2.0 in tree and I was about thinking about 5.0.0 stabilization.
