Description Filip Kobierski 2024-08-12 14:16:27 UTC
The issues are:
- HOMEPAGE & SRC_URI are dead (and http)
- EAPI=7
- empty IUSE & DEPEND
- move S under SRC_URI to fix VariableOrderWrong

The package emerges fine though.

I do not understand what you mean by linking to that comment.
Are these things I listed not issues?
Comment 3 Filip Kobierski 2024-08-12 15:59:21 UTC
EDIT: i was taking description as comment 1.
I do understand now
Comment 4 Paul Zander 2024-08-12 16:04:39 UTC
This goes back to the communicate part. All the bugs I closed list issues that are known as a result of the same pkgcheck output you used to file these bugs.

See https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/x11-themes/geramik/qa-report and more general https://qa-reports.gentoo.org/. Filing this bug does nothing to speed up the process of fixing that.
Comment 5 Filip Kobierski 2024-08-12 16:37:50 UTC
I do not understand.

I know that some of what I listed overlaps with the QA report and that's why it's last.
I understand that EAPI version can be checked trivially so that also is a minor thing.

However the QA reports do not show the dead URLs and CLI pkgcheck does.
I know that I did not "invent" this bug but just brought attention to it.

So are you saying that filing a non-duplicate bug about something being wrong
should not be done?
