I'm sorry if I have mistake reporting this bug. I'm newbie on gentoo. I'm trying to install gentoo to Ibm Pseries 610. I'm using install-ppc64-ibm-minimal-2005.0.iso. I choised pSeries-devfs kernel and added some boot parameters. Just like nol3 and other nousb or other nodetect hardware parmeters. I able to boot one time like this: "pSeries-devfs video=ofonly debug" I failed again. The kernel failing on starting ide controller. The kernel messege like below: ide: Assuming 33MHz system bus speed for pio modes; override with idebus=xx W82C105: IDE controller at PCI slot 0000:00:0b.1 W82C105: chipset revision 5 W82C105: 100% native mode on irq 31 ide0: MB-DMA at 0xffe800-0xffe807, BIOS settings: hda:DMA, hdb:DMA ide0: MB-DMA at 0xffe808-0xffe80f, BIOS settings: hdc:DMA, hdc:DMA then system frozen. Intresting thing is, when I tried boot with older versions of livecd

Intresting thing is, when I tried boot with older versions of livecdö, I encountered this problem. Then when I tried to boot severel times , some times proccess succeeded. But generally system froze with this kernel message.
