which one?

- app-emacs/vm-7.19 (masked by: missing keyword)
- app-emacs/vm-7.18 (masked by: missing keyword)

also, please post the output of 'emerge --info'

vm-7.19 works for me as well on amd64. Why not mark stable ? 
It is lisp, e.g. interpreted. app-emacs/bbdb is marked stable 
as well.
