I use knewsticker (from kde 3.3.2) in a panel under kicker.
whenever i change the scrolling speed and press ok (from the knewsticker
configure menu) it crashes.

Reproducible: Always

We need more info. Please get a backtrace of the crash. 
Please try kde 3.4.1 too. (It's going to go stable-keyworded RSN anyway.) 
Also, are the knewsticker's actual contents related? What if you try to change 
the includes RSS sources? (Wild guessing here)

It can probably be closed/fixed (i'll leave the decision to you :-) ) as: 
1) the crash does not happen anymore in 3.4.1 
2) the crash in 3.3.2 is not related to rss sources 
3) i havent 3.3.2 compiled with -debug switch, if it is needed i will recompile 
it though.

Presumably fixed in 3.4.1.
