ppc64 looks to also be affected... I think because of the mask at features/big-endian/package.mask, even if libjxl looks to be keyworded for it

All sanity-check issues have been resolved
Can you try install and run the tests on pcc so we can see if the big endian problem persists also in media-libs/libjxl-0.10.3 ? I want to know if it was resolved meanwhile or we have to remind the libjxl developers to focus on finding solution.
I cannot test on ppc, but looking at Debian package, it seems they are still hitting the problem. They even sent this bug during the past month: https://github.com/libjxl/libjxl/issues/3629
In https://github.com/libjxl/libjxl/issues/3629 they complained about 0.9.2 That's why I'd like that someone checks it with 0.10.3
Maybe you can try to CC the arch teams, they should be able to test and run the tests
