Description Radu Benea 2024-07-10 08:12:46 UTC
almost all mirrors have stopped syncing releases since 9th of October of 2023
the other directories seem to be working normally
a few did manage to update to more recent ones, I found one in NL
but this is a problem for following the handbook since almost everybody will get really old starting stage3 snapshots

Please link to an example bad mirror.

For example, https://mirror.init7.net/gentoo/releases/amd64/autobuilds/ is fine. But if you look at the *date* at the top-level directories in https://mirror.init7.net/gentoo/releases/, you might think it's stale.

sorry, you seem to be correct, I did not enter the directories, seems confusing seeing how the rest of the directories get their dates updated
