Thanks for the report! I checked your sample image and it worked here with media-gfx/geeqie-2.4 and media-libs/libwebp-1.4.0 (~arch versions) Can you test upgrading to these versions? First geeqie-2.4 and if needed libwebp Also if you run geeqie from console it may be more verbose on the errors (there is a journal option in help menu but I have never used it)
