The 32bit version of libjava complain about not founding libXtst.so provided by xorg-x11 (emul-linux-x86-xlibs) when compiling gcc4 on amd64 with gcj and gtk useflags enable. Solved the problem by creating dirty simlinks between /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/*X* in /usr/lib32 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. unmask gcc-4.0.0 2. emerge gcc-4.0.0 3. I tried re-emerging emul-linux-x86-xlibs but nothing... my emerge info : Portage 2.0.51.22-r1 (default-linux/amd64/2005.0, gcc-3.4.3-20050110, glibc-2.3.5-r0, 2.6.11-gentoo-r7bapt x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-gentoo-r7bapt x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3400+ Gentoo Base System version 1.6.12 dev-lang/python: 2.3.5 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.8 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.5 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.18 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O3 -ffast-math -funroll-all-loops -funit-at-a-time -fpeel-loops -ftracer -funswitch-loops -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O3 -ffast-math -funroll-all-loops -funit-at-a-time -fpeel-loops -ftracer -funswitch-loops -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig candy distlocks strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://mir1.ovh.net/gentoo-distfiles/ ftp://mir.zyrianes.net/gentoo/ http://194.117.143.72 ftp://ftp.tu-clausthal.de/pub/linux/gentoo/ ftp://194.117.143.71/mirrors/gentoo" LANG="fr_FR.UTF-8" LC_ALL="fr_FR.UTF-8" LINGUAS="fr" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X a52 aac aalib acpi acpi4linux alsa avi berkdb bitmap-fonts cap crypt cups curl disablexmb dv dvb dvd dvdr eds encode esd evo faac faad fam fb fbcon fbdev flac font-server foomaticdb freetype gcj gif gimp gimpprint gnome gnutls gphoto2 gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 gtkhtml hal ieee1394 imagemagick imlib ithreads javascript jbig jp2 jpeg lzo lzw lzw-tiff mad matroska mng modelock mp3 mpeg mpeg4 mpi nas ncurses network nls nptl nptlonly nvidia ogg oggvorbis opengl oss pam pcre perl pic plugin png pnp ppds pthreads python quicktime readline rtc samba scanner sdl slang spell ssl stroke svg tcpd theora threads tiff transcode truetype truetype-fonts type1 type1-fonts unicode usb userlocales v4l v4l2 vcd vdesktop vidix vorbis wmf wxwindows xanim xgetdefault xine xinerama xml xml2 xpm xprint xrandr xv xvid xvmc zlib video_cards_nvidia linguas_fr userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LDFLAGS, MAKEOPTS
