Description Joshua Hoblitt 2005-05-20 18:30:29 UTC
The dev-perl/DateManip ebuild doesn't seem to follow the naming convention for
Perl modules. As the module lives in the Date::Manip namespace shouldn't the
ebuild be named dev-perl/Date-Manip?

Reproducible: Always

Because when it was added to the tree many years ago, it was named after the downloaded tarball - which is DateManip. Closing this bug as invalid, because, well, it is.
Comment 2 Joshua Hoblitt 2005-05-21 12:34:34 UTC
Well, it should be a wontfix then as it is a completely valid point that this
ebuild does not follow the appropriate convention.
Comment 3 Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-22 04:52:07 UTC
But it does follow convention - ebuild name is ${P}, same as the SRC name,
${P}.tar.gz.
