Description Orkie 2005-05-20 10:18:14 UTC
When I try to update my system using 'emerge world', it fails to compile
kdenetwork-3.4.0-r2. It seems to be trying to link against GTK for some reason.
It shouldn't.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kdenetwork OR
1. emerge world (it is in the update queue)

Actual Results:

It appears to be trying to link against gtk for some reason?

Expected Results:
Compiled/not linked against GTK (particularly a GTK installed in /usr/local/lib
since portage doesn't install one there).

Um, ugly hidden dependency. Please grep the .la files of your xmms installation
for "libgtk".
Comment 2 Orkie 2005-05-28 07:59:45 UTC
Thanks, I re-emerged xmms and it managed to install fine.
