During my last two weekly updates ruby-3.3.1 fails during build with a segmentation fault, nothing obvious that I can see.

Is this still the case? And if so, which version of openssl are you building against? Given that the segmentation fault happens when calling openssl code that seems like the most likely culprit.

It's also possible it's a hardware problem if it's inconsistent.

3.3.1 still fails, but 3.3.7 and 3.4 both build fine. Openssl would have been what was stable at the time, (I verified at the time that I was using current stable openssl) but I don't have the skill to figure out what version that was at this point. Currently using 3.3.3

Thanks for the update. Weird.
