Hello. I updated telegram from version 4.16.8 to net-im/telegram-desktop-bin-5.0.1, it became inconvenient to use. My system Linux 6.6.30-gentoo x86_64. It starts , there are no contacts, you need to press esc on the keyboard, then contacts appear. I realized that when I launch (telegram-desktop-bin-5.0.1), the search menu is shown, and not all my contacts. How to fix it?
This is likely fixed in https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/releases/tag/v5.0.2 That version however is not in the tree and i will also not propose it. The next to come to gentoo will likely be 5.1.2 https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/37045 or above
Closed as WONTFIX, keep updating as you see new versions come. Currently you will have to live with it until a new version is in the tree. You can also switch to net-im/telegram-desktop which has 5.0.4 and should not have that problem.
