Description R. May 2005-05-19 05:44:56 UTC
Hello,

If I want something print via kprinter I always get:

/usr/bin/lpr -P Drucker''-#1''/tmp/Acro01815xxx
execution failed with message:

lpr:error - unable to access "/tmp/Acro01815xxx" - Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

With the older acroread all work fine.

A Bug in Acroreader german?

Regards Roland

I tried the following

Print from acroread to kprinter ...look in kprinter --> Options --> in /tmp/ is
already a File named Acro..... but if I press print I always get this Error Message

I don't think this is a bug. You have to use "kprinter" as "Befehl" in the
printing dialog. For me it still works without any problems.
Comment 3 R. May 2005-05-19 06:23:09 UTC
Sorry I use KDE 3.4
Comment 4 R. May 2005-05-19 06:29:00 UTC
If I print direct via /usr/bin/lpr all works fine.

But if I use kprinter as command I always get same Message

I try now V. 7.0.0.2 but now same Problem. But until I make the Update all works
fine.

Regards Roland

Comment 6 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-21 07:55:35 UTC
Does it work with the english and french version of acroread?
Comment 7 R. May 2005-05-21 08:16:14 UTC
No even with a older Version it works now..

Comment 8 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-30 06:50:11 UTC
so it works with the older version but not with the current french or english
version?

I think we have to mark this UPSTREAM when no one finds a better solution,
because the acroread is closed source and we cant fix the code.
Comment 9 R. May 2005-06-01 06:57:22 UTC
Now it works ;-)

I use KDE 3.4.1

and do this

rm -R ~/.adobe
rm -r /opt/Acrobat7

Install acrobat again

now I print something and activated the Checkbox Save Printer Memory <-- Now
acrobat don't remove the Files in /tmp.

I think this was the Error
