i tried to bump it but there are several issues:
1) updating dpf and pugl to the latest commits causes the compilation to fail with some errors
2) if keeping the commits for dpf and pugl the same as in 4.2, compilation fails with "make[1]: *** No rule to make target 'au', needed by 'all'.  Stop."

so this packages needs more attention for the bump.
