dmesg for kernel 6.8.9

I've been seeing this multiple times in my dmesg on an amdgpu system that flickers its screens a few times then blanks until reboot. The subject message seems the likely culprit. Attaching a dmesg log under kernel 6.8.9. Have been having significant flickering issues with all kernels, but it became unusable on any kernel higher than 6.1.x (flickering eventually becomes blanking). Under 6.1.x, flickering is occasional, but never blanks.

Current semi-functional kernel: 6.1.81-gentoo
Tried multiple kernels under 6.6, and just tried 6.8.9 (have not tried earlier kernels in the 6.8 series).

Xorg vs Wayland: Wayland in this configuration

DE: Gnome 44.2

HW: Laptop - Alienware M18 R1 (AMD)
On-board GPU disabled in BIOS to simplify the config
GPU: Radeon RX 7900M (To my knowledge, since last November is still the ONLY model with such a GPU)
RAM: 64G
HDD: 10G ZFS

Not sure that's related - I get that in 6.1.x also, appears to be non-fatal and related to data compression?
