More than half of dev-perl/* packages don't have the arm64 keyword. I believe that all of those that are pure perl could be keyworded without risk. I have tested the following ones that include native codes on apple-silicon without problem: dev-perl/XML-SAX-ExpatXS-1.330.0-r1 dev-perl/Set-Object dev-perl/Linux-Pid-0.40.0-r2 (despite its name) as well as these related ones, outside dev-perl: www-apache/mod_perl-2.0.13 www-apache/libapreq2/libapreq2-2.17 Tell me if and how I can help in improving the perl dev platform on arm64 gentoo.
The way we do things is one bug per package, with the package list populated appropriately. The bug can be for a group of packages if they're logically related and the list isn't massive. It's also preferred to include consumers of things rather than just libraries for the sake of it.
Unable to check for sanity: > no match for package: foo/bar
Thanks for this quick response. I can open ~ 30 bugs for the individual packages I currently and personally need (they are not particularly related to each other). But there are ~ 1000 other packages without the arm64 keywords in dev-perl, the vast majority being pure perl. Shall I close this one as resolved ?
Resetting sanity check; package list is empty or all packages are done.
