It would be helpful to have a binary version of nxclient available in portage. 
I was able to download the tar ball from nomachine.com and can run their client
with no known issues on my amd64.

The x86 etc. people probably wouldn't benefit but this is a nice alternative
because I was unable to compile nxclient on my adm64

Then file a bug about that. This is a source distro. Binaries are a rare
exception for stuff that takes a while to compile on slower boxes.
