I have incorporated Knoppix's rebuildfstab script into the livecd-tools version of autoconfig. I think it would be a valuable enancement to the autoconfig livecd-tools. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Umm Add rebuildfstab to /etc/init.d 2. Modify autoconfig script to execute 3. I have pasted my conplete autoconfig and rebuildfstab to my forum thread at: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-333050-highlight-.html. Please feel free to use if you wish.

Hrrrmn... if you were to update this and make it not enabled by default, I wouldn't have a problem with adding it. Also, where did the rebuildfstab script originate from? I see that is has Klaus Knopper's name on it, so I wonder which Knoppix package it comes from originally.
I grabbed the rebuildfstab from the current Knoppix distro at the time I submitted this. It's been a few months so I don't recall which version it was. I created the patch as enabled by default with a boot command line parameter to disable it. The reverse would also work, to disable it by default and have an "enable" keyword recognized from boot.
Is there any interest on this still?
