Attached is the metadot-6.3.3.1.ebuild and accompanying patches and webapp-config hooks for use with apache2 and mod_perl-1.99. This ebuild was based off the metadot-6.1.6.ebuild with enhancments for apache2 support. It also requires XML::Dumper a perl module which is not currently in portage. The Contributing Ebuilds guide at www.gentoo.org recommends not submitting CPAN ebuilds so I am not sure how to get this into portage. see http://www.metadot.com for more info on Metadot jeremy

Created attachment 59145 [details] metadot6.3.3.1-apache2-startup-hook If using apache2 this webapp-cofnig hook will automatically adjust startup.pl with the current metadot path so apache/mod_perl will not error out complaining about not being able to find metadot.conf
Created attachment 59146 [details] metadot6.3.3.1-reconfig webapp-config hook to adjust metadot.conf paths to reflect the current installed directory. Also adjusts permissions on sitedata directory so apache can write to it as required by the application.

webapps team, make sure the PERL team is the one who adds/maintains the XML-Dumper ebuild, if you decide to include metadot in portage.
I'm more than happy to add XML-Dumper if its needed/going to be used, just let me know. Will fit in nicely with the perl-xml cat after the split :)
6.4_p1 is in CVS
