Description Xue Zhixing 2005-05-17 05:58:17 UTC
dvgrab 1.8 is the newest stable release with the same dependencies as previous
releases.

dvgrab 2.0 adds a new dependency on libiec61883 because it uses the third
generation of media I/O technology from the Linux 1394 project.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected Results:
To add the new version
Comment 1 Xue Zhixing 2005-05-17 06:01:11 UTC
The 2.0 version needs the libiec61883 exclusively
I haven't found it in current portage tree
maybe we should first add the lib before dvgrab 2.0

1.8 is the latest stable upstream release, added to the tree. will add 2.0 when
it's more stable, marking this one as fixed for now. thanks for reporting.

TREMENDOUS !!!

For the first time I was able to do a dvgrab without any frame drop on my amd64
(never tested any other setup) with 2.6 kernel thank to version 2.0 of dvgrab
(tested 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8).

I would really enjoy having version 2.0 in the maintree (if it was me I will put
1.x as $M and 2.0 as ~) :-)

Thank to that thread I finally managed a perfect transfert !!!
