I ran this package in my split-usr environment no problem, then ran a test build and it was breaking with error : filesystem (${ROOT})): * * /usr/bin/awk * /bin/awk * /usr/bin/awk * Differences: size, content * * Package 'app-alternatives/awk-4' NOT merged due to internal collisions I then changed my environment to merged-usr and it broke the build. it appears the package does not work well with 'merged-usr'.
It works fine foe me. Please provide a build log and emerge --info.
Strange, I rebuilt the package on the same environment i created yesterday and it appears to build fine now after rebooting my machine. I guess I will reboot my machine (or vm) next time I have a bug I want to report just to make sure there isn't some weird mount or off-state issue. Sorry. --> INVALID.
