emerge info

when I use okular to  read a pdf file then send same to printer there is no  result from the printer queue when checked.
The printer is HP CP1025nw Color with addons hplip-plugin 
no error messages,,,,,wrong looked at the output of /var/log/cups error.log.
Added libusb0 to hplip as the printer has both wired &usb inputs.
finally worked after reboot &shutdown restart

Have you looked at the HPLIP[0] & Gentoo Printing Guide[1]? These resources can help you configure your printer correctly.

Anyhow I understand from your report that your issue is resolved now?
