I had argyllcms 2 installed and installed media-gfx/displaycal-py3 to try it out. It wasn't able to drive argyll, with a message "DisplayCAL: Waiting for send buffer" after a couple of steps in a calibration. I updated argyllcms and calibration proceeded.

So I think an RDEPEND to a minimum version of argyllcms should be specified, instead of the plain media-gfx/argyllcms.

Well my bad, the "DisplayCAL: Waiting for send buffer" problem still occurs with argyllcms 3.
