Hi, I'm still looking into this but need to research the issue a bit. I'm far from a Rust expert so could be wrong, but from what I've read online, but it looks like CFLAGS doesn't have an effect on it? Still reading around to make sure. At the very least, there is almost no mention of it in the online rustc book besides cross compiling the toolchain for a few architectures. Asking elsewhere too.
I have added QA_FLAGS_IGNORED to this Rust ebuild.
