It seems that wxGTK-2.6.0 compiled with dmalloc support is broken and causes segfaults when apps linked against it are executed. See this page for a description of the problem:

Thanks Mikkel, I've removed support for it. I'll check upstream for an existing bug report and file one with wxWidgets if not.
