Description Ashok Shah 2005-05-13 21:56:34 UTC
I am trying a fresh install on my computer (Athlon-XP processor). I have tried different stages, but the error reproduces when i install GUI, KDE or GNOME.

Error goes like..
*** Gentoo sanity check failed! ***
libtool.m4 and ltmain.sh have a version mismatch! ***
*** (libtool.m4 = 1.5.16, ltmain.sh = 1.5) ***

Please run:

    libtoolize --copy --force

...
!!! ERROR: media-libs/lcms-1.13 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 449, Exitcode 1
!!! enconf failed

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.A fresh install of Gentoo
2. After installing grub, do emerge kde, or emerge gnome

Actual Results:
It fails while emerging package (media-libs/lcms-1.13)

Expected Results:
went ahead with the installation.

Please, emerge sync and try again; lcms-1.13-r1 should be fixed wrt Bug 92350. Feel free to reopen if it still fails after emerge sync.
