Description Martin Jørgensen 2024-02-05 13:22:29 UTC
I wondered if anyone have thought about packaging app-emacs/* packages in an ELPA compatible format, so that package.el detects which packages are installed using portage and marked as 'external' in package-list, and therefore subject to different update rules in Emacs.

I would prefer to have Emacs not upgrade any 'external' package as they are controlled by portage.

Maybe you guys have solved this issue/inconvenience with other means ?
