Description Francisco 2005-05-12 06:22:23 UTC
I renamed the ebuild for 0.67 to 0.68 and removed all the patches for the previous ebuild.
The ebuild compiles and works as expected. I tested some of the apps, flow-cat, flow-stat, flow-capture and flow-report and they work as extected.
I didn't test to compile with debug, mysql or postgres USE flags.

Did you verify that the patches are no longer needed?
Comment 3 Francisco 2005-05-12 06:51:35 UTC
Not really, I downloaded the source and made a "./configure && make" and worked fine, so I supposed that the ebuild without any patches would work fine, and it did.
Note that I'm not a developer, I have only little knowledge on programming, so I wouldn't know if the patches are needed, I only know that without them it compiles fine and the tools seem to work fine too.
I don't intend this to be the final ebuild, but is to make you notice that it might be easy to add this ebuild to portage.

Ah ok. That's perfectly fine, just want to know whether you did it for a reason or not. In the future please provide a diff against the old ebuild instead of a new ebuild. Makes it a lot easier to see the changes.
Comment 5 Francisco 2005-05-13 07:06:10 UTC
Ok, I'll do that in the future. Thanks

In CVS. Thanks for the report.
