Description Mark-Joe 2024-01-26 21:24:26 UTC
When locking the screen in a mate session, the lock screen shows the wrong time. It shows UTC time instead of the local time set in mate-settings date and time.

Reproducible: Always

Could you please provide some more information to help get to the bottom of this one.

We require:

1. emerge --info mate-extra/mate-screensaver

2. output of ls -l /etc/timezone

Thanks
Comment 2 Mark-Joe 2024-01-27 21:58:53 UTC
The file /etc/timezone did not exist. After creating it and filling with appropriate time zone it worked. Thanks a lot.

No worries, glad it was an easy one.
