When using XCompsite window screen capture in MATE display output is only shown when the program isn't minimised. I have not come across this issue in other DEs so seems like a bug.

To reproduce:

1. Install MATE 1.27 as detailed in https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/MATE#Development_Release_Cycle
2. emerge -va media-video/obs
3. In OBS setup a XCompsite for a terminal 
4. minimise terminal and watch the output disappear
