I tryed to emerge gnome-print, and got the error messages below.
It seems that the failure is attributed to the libtool.eclass.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -av1 gnome-print

Actual Results:

Using uclibctoolize instead elibtoolize shoul work.
