Description Balint Jeno Biro 2005-05-11 11:46:37 UTC
when trying to run gdmconfig it displays an error window saying:
Cannot load user interface
An error occured while loading the user interface element acc_options_cat_label from file gdmsetup.glade. Possibly the glade interface description was corrupted. gdm cannot continue and will exit now. You should check your installation of gdm or reinstall gdm.

In the terminal it leaves:

defiant root # gdmconfig

** (gdmsetup:20038): WARNING **: Glade file is on crack! Make sure the correct file is installed!
file: gdmsetup.glade widget: acc_options_cat_label
defiant root #

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. run gdmconfig
2.
3.

Actual Results:
gdmconfig showed the error msg. mentioned above

Expected Results:
gdmconfig should work

defiant root # emerge info

Comment 1 Balint Jeno Biro 2005-05-11 12:18:24 UTC
Sorry i left out this, the version was: gnome-base/gdm-2.6.0.7 .
Comment 2 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-03 14:12:36 UTC
tried rebuilding it, it could just be a corrupt file as the error indicates?
Comment 3 John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-05 16:51:13 UTC
please try what comment #2 suggested and reopen the bug if necessary.
