Description Henrique Rodrigues 2005-05-11 11:21:50 UTC
When emerging Cannonmash, it can't find SDL, although I have it installed on my system. I have tried it with libsdl 1.2.7-r3 and 1.2.8-r1.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge cannonsmash
2.
3.

Actual Results:
This is the error message:

checking for SDL - version >= 1.2.0... no
*** Could not run SDL test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means SDL was incorrectly installed
*** or that you have moved SDL since it was installed. In the latter case, you
*** may want to edit the sdl-config script: /usr/bin/sdl-config
configure: error: *** SDL version 1.2.0 not found!

Expected Results:
Cannonsmash be installed

plean run `revdep-rebuild -p`
Comment 2 Henrique Rodrigues 2005-05-11 13:56:35 UTC
I've ran "revdep-rebuild -p", but the result is the same when I try to compile Cannonsmash. Here's the output of the "revdep-rebuild -p":

Checking reverse dependencies...
Packages containing binaries and libraries broken by any package update,
will be recompiled.

Collecting system binaries and libraries... done.
  (/root/.revdep-rebuild.1_files)

Collecting complete LD_LIBRARY_PATH... done.
