When emerging Cannonmash, it can't find SDL, although I have it installed on my system. I have tried it with libsdl 1.2.7-r3 and 1.2.8-r1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge cannonsmash 2. 3. Actual Results: This is the error message: checking for SDL - version >= 1.2.0... no *** Could not run SDL test program, checking why... *** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the *** exact error that occured. This usually means SDL was incorrectly installed *** or that you have moved SDL since it was installed. plean run `revdep-rebuild -p`
I've ran "revdep-rebuild -p", but the result is the same when I try to compile Cannonsmash. Here's the output of the "revdep-rebuild -p": Checking reverse dependencies... Packages containing binaries and libraries broken by any package update, will be recompiled. Collecting system binaries and libraries... done. (/root/.revdep-rebuild.1_files) Collecting complete LD_LIBRARY_PATH... done. (/root/.revdep-rebuild.2_ldpath) Checking dynamic linking consistency... done. All done.
o.k., something for the games herd, then
