The version in portage is 3 versions behind now. 2.3 is out and is much better :)

Have adapted the older ebuild scipt to install the new version 2.3.
I enclose the pypanel-2.3.ebuild file and a modified .pypanelrc (cause the
original one uses black ink in black background ;) )

2.3 is already in portage...

btw, desktop-misc will gladly take over the package (i changed the metadata)
